Try out our recipe for sweet potato fries with Hummus Olive! Tasty, healthy fries from sweet potatoes with a delicious dip of chickpeas and pieces of black and green olives.
Ingredients for 2 persons:
- 2 or 3 medium size sweet potatoes
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tbsp paprika
– black pepper
– Hummus Olive from King Cuisine
Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Wash or peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into long strips with a thickness of about 1 cm. Soak the strips for 30 minutes in a bowl of cold water to remove some of the starch. The fries will be crispier if you do this step. Pat the fries dry with a kitchen- or paper towel. Place the fries in a bowl and mix them with olive oil, paprika, sea salt and black pepper.
Place the fries well spread on a baking sheet with baking paper and put in the oven. Bake the fries about 30 minutes until they are golden brown. Get the sweet potato fries out of the oven and serve with our Hummus Olive.
